Some parts just look like "gradients" as opposed to gradients. I think the top of the beard looks a little off. It looks like he has a light source from under his helmet. The feet also have a similar feel, it looks like there is light from under his feet. I'd say those are the major spots, but the others look well blended and fit in nicely.

Well the that was an attempt to make the darker parts of the gradients shadows. But I see what you mean. Thanks :)

really digging this, though i think the gradients are a bit too harsh in some places.
